Ode to Tom O'Bedlam

The Universe
gave birth to the World.

(We are manipulating the plan)

The Oceans,
Mountains, and Forests are
the fluids, veins, and arteries
of the World.

Man is the dis-ease
spreading the virus called "city".
Man is the ungrateful,
selfish child;
always taking, never giving,
always wanting more.

-------------------------------
These are the thoughts that went through my head as I took a walk the other day. I was admiring the twists and turns of all the tree branches. I suddenly thought of veins and felt like I was walking inside a giant being. So I stopped and wrote down my thoughts and then kept on walking. Perhaps that is why I subconsiously try to never disturb anything in my path unless it disturbs me first--I do not want to be a dis-ease! Who does? Apparently most people are either not aware or do not care that they are parasites. Being human makes us all parasites by default, but that doesn't mean we are required to destroy everything. We have a choice. Because the thing about humans, is we have this curse called greedy logic, a.k.a. government. On one level we go by the same law as any animal--survival of the fittest. But humans take it much further, abusing what makes them different from animals.

For example: If you are in a hungry lion's territory, you know damn well what will happen to you. But the lion will only kill and eat you because it is hungry and you are its prey. The lion will not organize a lion army to travel across oceans and kill your family, friends, and neighbors.

Sure, you will say, "I am not killing anyone. I am just living my life."

You good little worker bees!
Ignorant to the suffering your labor helps bring.

"In the Will of the Hive is the Will of the Bee fulfilled".

Whatever helps you sleep at night.
Just remember when the shit hits the fan, that you had a choice and you chose to be submissive slaves for a false sense of security.
Even more importantly, remember that you still have the choice even after all is destroyed by "terrorists", yes, but not the ones you are thinking.

Take a good look in the mirror...and tell me...what kind of animal are you?

This entry reminds me of a Project Pitchfork song i was listening to this morning called "The Deepest Place" and one of the lines to the chorus is "Nature is the largest cell we know." I find it highly appropriate! Remember your Biology class and learning about the human and plant cell and how it works? well, I think humanity is the assimilating part of this organism we call Earth. We are the ones who dig/uproot everything and spread it evenly across the surface of the planet.

Why do we do this? What's the point?

I've been pondering these questions often lately.

hm, after looking up the lyrics on google I find that the lyric is actually "Nature is the largest SPELL we know." bah, I like my version 10000x better.
